Big gap down opening.

1) Did not get TST/BOF @ RH to short. @ DO.

2) Skipped CT TST Long @ the second attempt on LOD,(11.00 AM) as there was congestion around BRN.

3)Placed a long order above 8823, as it looked like price settling in a higher Range. Cancelled it as the momentum was less.As suspected, it morphed into Envelope.

4) Skipped BOF @ LOD towards EOD, as there were 2 HLs above. Was expecting a CPB and placed the order @ LOD. But the order was not filled upto 3.00. So cancelled the order. Immediately, price moved down.

So no trades for the day.

20/1/2015, TUESDAY

Again outside gap. Except the initial few minutes, volume was not too high.

1) Longed @ BPB of RH. Got only 4 points.

2) Was looking for TST/BOF signal  @ RL. Didn't get it.

3) Thought that the Resistance at the then HOD was too strong. But volumes increased significantly after 1.30 Noon. Skipped BPB Long above RN, as the trade is directed into all time high level. What a move, it was.

Have to learn a lot more.

Big outside Gap up with trend.

1) Went long on seeing PP set up. Did not move well.  Gave 1 point.

2) Thought of going short towards EOD. T hen decided against it.

Price was moving in a channel for a major part of the day.

Opened with WT outside gap up.

1) Missed the Long above IRH, due to hesitation in taking the trade after WT outside gap up.

2) Did the mistake of the day, when shorted BOF BRN in haste. After 70+ up move, price will pause and consolidate, if at all it reverses.  Could not recognise this on time and got stopped out. -9 points.

3) Shorted BOF of RH. Got 7 points.

4) Again shorted BOF of RH hoping that critical mass will exit at week end. Stopped out.-7 points

Resuming after a long holiday, Nifty opened with outside Gap down, 55 points below PDC. As expected, price was consolidating for some time. NS BRN was supporting the price for a long time.

1) Took IRL BOF Long. Had to scratch. -1 point.

2) Shorted BPB BRN. Made a quick exit, as I thought that the momentum is not good enough to push the price down further.  -1.5 points.
