28-03-2017, TUESDAY

1) Was reluctant to short against the direction of  initial move and gap. Gave 7 points. In hindsight, it  was a stupid trade.

Didn't take any other trades.

  1. Hi KS.
The setup appears so juicy that we are tempted to take trade against the bias.
I too spotted that trade and consciously avoided that,Learnt a lesson on 23/03/17

    My today's trades https://www.screencast.com/t/tIjnLndeR31E

I took the second trade at the same location as I felt that the rejection was more stronger than the earlier one.
Just thought to share my observation with you, because my thought process was same as yours at the location where you took the trade.

    1. Hi Arvind,

Yes. Weeding out unforced errors is the most important requisite to last long in this game. When you make such mistakes in the opening hour, it keeps hurting throughout the day and inhibits actions at other opportunities.

Your second trade was good. First trade was also good. Market decided to offload a few bulls before hitting the target. But you did the right thing by taking that trade again.

      Thanks

  2. KS, I think in day trading the sooner we start to think like this the better.
